How does your garden grow - with grunge paste of course!

following watching Leandra's video on sanding back Tinted Grunge paste I had a go with the following ingredients:

6X6 Canvas board, base coated in Fresco Finish Concrete with Nougat swiped through to warm it up.  I then selected the stencil which is Butterfly Meadow from the Crafters Workshop range.  I tinted my GP with Toad Hall, Guacamole and Bora Bora and coloured the flowers and grasses in, I then mixed what tinted GP was left and added Mud Splat to make the butterflies and dragonflies look as though they were in relief.  I dried this and sanded it back (a butterfly and dragonfly weren't entirely dry at first swipe with sanding block even though they felt warm after drying!)

I then used Beach Hut and Inky Pool on a wet baby wipe to make the sky area more dense in colour and used Limelight and Inky Pool for the meadow floor.  I then used Mini 30 with a Blue Versafine to stamp in the hand and blended this back a bit more to give the sky more interest.  I then stamped the sentiment from ELB3 to finish it off.

Christmas Present for my Mother in Law

As many of you know, this year hasn't been the best in this family and sadly in the summer we lost Andrew's dad to cancer.

Some folks on twitter have been dabbling in Sculpted or altered books, so I had this really clever idea that I could do one for her, so off to the charity shop I went and this is what I came up with.

Off to make a box for it now.

I would like to enter this for Use it Tuesday - anything goes with hoarded stash (flowers and butterfly)

Xmas card for a Chap

This was a quick card made from an idea off a Christmas Jumper.

I used Mr Fantashtic stamp set from Indigo Blu, stamped the images in versamark and used detail black embossing powder fir the hat/bucket, and cosmic shimmer embossing powder for the tashes and a star gem for the top of the tree.

Emergency Crafters DT Piece - Anything as long asit's not Xmas

I fancied doing a cute card for a change (not usual for me these days) I started by stamping the Crafters Companion image in memento tuxedo black, coloured it with promarkers, glittered the sparkly spangles on the shoe and used Spellbinders to create the matts and layers.
