Craft Barn Alpha Challenge E

E isn't the easiest letter in the alphabet to come up with a journal page for, but I went with Extract as I was hoping to extract the artist/journalist in me.

I started by gluing the page in the journal and basing the rest of the page in purple, what I hadn't realised was I had picked up a metallic paint and it went on thicker than expected.  I could live with that so played around with another few colours over the top to "thin down the purpleness" I then used cosmic shimmer spray in the bottom corners, used a Stamps Away mask with Distress inks finally using  Paper Artsy and Andy Skinner stamps to add some artistic interpretation.  Hope you see the artist in me.

My word for this challenge

The over all  effect

A bit closer on the over all effect

I do like the colours on your pages and the branches.

Great pages! Lots of depth and even subtle secondary images appear if you look at the pages a while. Very cool!

Two versions of the word extract, you have extracted the dictionary piece from the background and you have extracted your artist self. Nice spread
